The Blog is back

Hi there

As it turns out, I can only write one thing at a time: code or a blog. So, while the last five or six months have been mainly writing the code to upgrade DCDR, the blog has languished.

But it languishes no longer and I am writing again (for better or for worse). So expect to see me back in your inbox again with some more regularity.

However, there are a couple of changes.

First is the name. I am going all-in on the DCDR platform so even though I will still be talking about risk, crisis etc, this is now the DCDR blog, not my personal blog.

Second, it might feel a little tech-heavy for anyone only interested in risk, crisis, etc. That’s not to say that it will all be technical — you know I like a good essay on risk — but I firmly believe that we’re on the edge of a big technology breakthrough and that’s where I’m focused. As is DCDR.

Third, despite all the advice from the experts, I won’t be sticking to a schedule. The ideas come when they do, as will the articles.

That’s it other than to say thanks for inviting me into your inbox. We have so many demands on our time, and so many services competing for our attention, that it means a great deal that you are willing to share some of your valuable time reading my material. Thank you - I try to make it as worthwhile as possible every time I hit send.
